AM-54 is a Matrix Controller with total of 7 inputs and 4 outputs, expandable up to 24 out puts with 6 units.
Ideal for both residential and commercial applications.
Five external selected Audio Inputs provide connections or both audio and sync. Four inputs are common and fifth is a specific for each input from the central AM-54 unit or remote control unit in zone.
Inputs 6 and 7 are "Talk Over" type into individual zone.
Integrates easily with AST splitters as DA-26, Microphone units as 4ZMW / 8ZM / 24ZM in order to provide up to 24 zones system with full facilities.
Paging input accommodates voice announcements from a telephone system and/or Doorbell tones from the optional AST TDB-4 Interface.
Built-in 8 channelsDigitalAmplifier Delivers 50 Watts per zone (25 watts per channel) to each of the six zones. Each zone has direct line out put for external Power Amplifier and Headphones Amplifier which is sent to zone.
Bass, Treble controls for each zone are provided for perfect sound enhancement. MUTE control, as well as the Tone Controls controlled by the hand held remote control.
RS-232 and discrete IR control for each of the four zones provides seamless Integration with external remote control systems.
IR control from zone is provided by simple hand held remote control unit (4 are supplied with central unit), WC-10 Type 120 size decorative wall controller or WC-12 which includes local source via 3.5mm socket and headphones socket for local listening. Each of WC-10/12 includes IR sensor for remote control use.
Up to 4 IR control units ina zone can be used with AST IRC-4.
Back Panel RS-232 Connection enables system programming restoration and backup via PC or third party controller. Friendly user software is provided.
Each zone has ON/OFF dry contact (Relay) connection that enables the user to control power of external Power Amplifier, light or so on, via external device.
In default position, the speakers output of internal amplifiers will be switched off, enable the user to listen to headphones in zone while speakers are muted.
AUX switching relay, Normally Open and Normally Closed contacts provides any special demanded control by user, as screen, lights and so on.
Integrates easily with AST VS-5HD/VGA/CO Video Switchers to create a complete distributed A/V System.
