HID-SSHID® Reader in Stainless Frame – The HID-SS is an HID® ProxPoint® Plus card reader designed to be mounted seamlessly next to any of Aiphone's stainless steel sub stations. The unit has an embedded HID® compatible card reader with a standard Wiegand output to an access control panel. The HID-SS mounts directly to wall surface or to a 2-gang box. When surface mounting with a stainless steel sub, use either an SBX-2BH (Horizontal) or SBX-2BV (Vertical). If surface mounting the HID-SS by itself, use the SBX-2G.

Aiphone HID-SS Proximity Card Reader

The Aiphone HID-SS 2-Gang Proximity Card Reader is designed to be mounted seamlessly next to any of Aiphone's stainless steel sub stations. The unit has an embedded HID compatible card reader with a standard Wiegand output to an access control panel. The HID-SS mounts directly to a wall surface or to a 2-gang box. Horizontal (SBX-2BH) and vertical surface (SBX-2BV) mount boxes are available for mounting both units. The HID-SS does not need to be used with an intercom station. The card reader provides electronic access to a building through the standard Access Control system, which is not supplied by Aiphone.
